Current Dollar GDP Versus Constant Dollar GDP | Bizcovering

To understand the difference between the two terms – Current Dollar GDP and Constant Dollar GDP; we first need to be clear about what exactly is GDP that I have tried to explain in my previous article.

GDP report or Gross Domestic Product is released in two forms for any country. One is termed as Current Dollar GDP and the second as Constant Dollar GDP. Both of them have their own significance as far as their importance is concerned. Growth in GDP has a significant impact on any country’s business relations with other countries. It also tells about the fiscal health of a country. The base of any GDP report for a country is U.S. dollar.
