Finally Preity Zinta, 41, the Bollywood heartthrob finds her soulmate in Los Angeles-based financial consultant Gene Goodenough. Gene has turned out to be good enough for pretty Preity. The speculations were in the air for last few years that have been put to rest. The closed door marriage happened in the presence of few close friends. Filmfare magazine was the first to report it. The private ceremony was put to suspense for the rest of the world till few tweets started flashing. Preity plans to throw a grand party in Mumbai in April. Preity’s twitter profile defines her as an actor, producer, writer, entrepreneur, human being and cricket fan. We all know she is a refined actor. She is also associated with Indian Premier League (IPL). Kabir Bedi the veteran actor congratulated her on Twitter for marrying in the City of Angles.

The rumours of Preity Zinta marrying Gene Goodenough started since last year. First it was being speculated for January this year and then in February on Valentine’s Day. So far Preity kept denying the rumour but finally, it turned out to be a reality. The couple was seeing each other for more than a year. Gene was seen in few of the IPL matches along with her.

Preity Zinta’s first appearance was in the movie Dil Se in 1998 as a supporting actor. She has worked in more than 70 movies and most of them have marked her as a superlative actress. She has also worked as an actress in few regional movies. She grabbed the best debut actress Filmfare award for her role in Dil Se. She was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress for the same movie. She was nominated for the best actress award for her superb role in Kya Kehna. She has been getting a lot of good wishes tweets since this announcement.
