TEDxGateway 2012 Mumbai: Joao Lammoglia: Use Passive Energy Of Each Human To Generate Energy

The way energy consumption is increasing all across the globe, we are slowly moving to a state of self-destruction. High energy consumption, with the increase of a large number of electronic gadgets and their invasion in our day to day life, is playing a big role in global warming that is leading to a high investment of energy. So our balance of energy is reducing in our global bank and gradually that will lead to a global bankruptcy.

Joao Lammoglia spoke in TEDxGateway 2012 held in Mumbai talks about the gadgets that are increasing in our day to day life and thereby increase in consumption of electricity. Each one of us carries, at least, one smart gadget - be it a smartphone, tablet PC, or any other device. Usage of GPS and GPRS technologies along with other features of these smart devices demands to recharge of their batteries twice or thrice a day. That is where the electricity consumption is booming drastically higher day by day with even the kids falling into this arena in their early childhood days., these days.

"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force" - Darth Vader.

Joao after reflecting this bigger threat and danger increasing day by day talked about using the force within each human being that can be divided into two sections - active energy and passive energy. Passive energy comes inherently to each human being with the help of which our body parts function. The brain, heart and other functions of our body can be used to generate energy which can be used to charge these smart devices thereby reducing consumption of electricity.

What a great idea it is.
